    That the theme of trickery and deception plays an important part in the comedies of Plautus is obvious. Although by no means absent from the comedies of Menander and Terence, it. This commentary presents the Latin text of the famous Plautus comedy, with Latin notes on the facing pages. Includes a fifteenth-century supplement in place of the scenes lost from the original; an appendix of notes in English; a brief discussion of metre, and vocabulary lists.
